Mrs. Jennifer Byrd
Mrs. Byrd graduated from the University of Alabama in 2003 and used her degree in public relations to work in Birmingham. She later lived in Rainsville while writing for the Times-Journal. Mrs. Byrd then furthered her education at Jacksonville State University. She has taught English at Fort Payne High School since 2007.

A 2005 graduate of Fort Payne High School, Brittney Owens enters her 11th year of teaching for the 2020-2021 academic year. Mrs. Owens has taught English Language Arts in the Fort Payne City School System since 2012. She currently teaches honors and regular English 9.
