  • Master Gardener Donation

    The Dekalb County Master Gardeners Club presented Fort Payne City Schools with a check in the amount of $2,000.00. This donation is to help with the landscaping expenses of FPCS new elementary school, Little Ridge Intermediate School.   • USDA waiver for student meals!

    Fort Payne City Schools would like to announce that beginning today, September 4, all students enrolled in our school system will be eligible to eat breakfast and lunch free until December 31, 2020 due to the passage of a USDA waiver. If you usually submit a free/reduced price application, please go ahead and turn in a form to the child nutrition office. The amount of federal funding our entire school system receives is based on the percentage of our students receiving free and reduced-price meals.

  • Alabama Broadband Connectivity for Students

    ABC FOR STUDENTS (Alabama Broadband Connectivity) Voucher letters could be received as early as Monday, August 24, 2020, for qualified students. These vouchers can be used by their parents for free high-speed internet service through December 30, 2020. How will you recognize this letter? The front of the envelope will say: “To the parents of…..” followed by the eligible child’s name. If qualified, the parent needs to do these four things: 1. Call an internet provider listed in the voucher letter 2. Say “I have an Alabama ABC voucher.” 3. Receive equipment and installation support from your internet provider. 4.   • NEW ATHLETIC TICKET POLICY: Card & Mobile Payment Only

    Beginning for the 2020-21 school year, Fort Payne High School will begin implementing a Card & Mobile Payment Only ticketing policy at all athletic events. Fans will be able to purchase tickets online through Fort Payne’s GoFan page or by presenting a debit/credit card (or mobile payment option) at the ticket gate.

    Nucor-Vulcraft presented Fort Payne City Schools with 200 disposal mask, 200 cloth mask, 100 face shields along with 4 gallons of hand sanitizer.   • Fort Payne City Schools Bus Enrollment Form 2020-2021

    Parents, Many of the bus numbers and routes will change for the 2020-2021 school year. The changes are due to our school district receiving four new buses and due to the COVID-19 social distancing requirements. If your child or children will ride a Fort Payne City School bus, you will need to fill out an enrollment form online. All new enrollees in standard in-person instruction who need to ride a bus will also need to fill out an online bus enrollment form. Please keep in mind that you will be notfied ASAP when the form has been processed by school personnel.
