Attendance Requirements

Students enrolled in “local” online classes fulfill daily attendance requirements of Fort Payne City Schools when they maintain a weekly course progression.  An unexcused absence will be given if progression falls behind without previous arrangements being made with the instructor. Students are also required to take all state mandated assessments on campus.  Students and/or guardian must arrange for reliable and safe transportation according to the terms of the signed Fort Payne Virtual School Contract Agreement.

Students enrolled in the dual enrollment online option or ACCESS will be required to fulfill the requirements outlined by those institutions.
