    Biology is a comprehensive study of the living world to include scientific process and application skills; cell processes; cell theory; photosynthesis and cellular respiration; genetics; classification; plants; animals; ecology; biogeochemical cycles.  Laboratory experiences are provided for all major concept areas as well as group activities that are inquiry based.  1 CREDIT


    HONORS CP BIOLOGY (220012) – one year

    Prerequisite:  None

    This course is designed for the accelerated tenth grader who plans to take higher level sciences.  The course offers the same subject matter as described in Biology but with greater depth, speed, and enrichment.  Laboratory work, problem-solving experiences, and enrichment activities are a part of this course.  Collections may be required.  1 CREDIT
