Tuesday, January 15th, 2019
*Students, please check and read your email at least once or twice each day.
*All track athletes not going to the track meet today report to Coach Kirk’s room for 5th block.
*Anahi Aguilar, Magda Francisco and Kaitlyn Smith see Ms. McClain today.
*After school students participating in the technology competition that need to finish projects can work in Ms. McClain’s classroom until 4:30 today.
*The following students see Mrs. Newman at this time: Devin Crow, Brandon Cach, Lucas Monroe, Ashley Cridlin, Eduardo Juan, Seth Mitchell, Ian Moreland.
*All Seniors, check your email from Mrs. Barnes for instructions on turning in your pictures for the Senior video.
*Dual Enrollment English with Mrs. Shugart begins today, Tuesday. Jan. 15th.
*Students, please remember that you must register your vehicle and purchase a parking decal in order to park on campus. Drivers, you must park in your assigned spot. No students should be parking on the top row of the athletic lot. That is teacher parking only.
*Seniors, FAFSA sign-ups are here in the office. There are 6 dates available.
*Any Student wanting to train as a Machine Fixer at the Renfro Corp. please see Mrs. Pair as soon as possible. You must be 18 years old to apply. Starting pay is $11 per hour and will top out at $15.60 per hour after 22 weeks. This will be part of the Co-op program. Students will work 20 hours per week starting the last block of the day. They are looking for 6 workers to train for this program. Please sign up for applications and more information in Mrs. Pair’s room.
*Students, 4th block is still an attendance issue. If you are not going to be in your normal reach class, it is your responsibility to let your teacher know.
*Students, there are some spots open for Drivers Ed 2nd block only and only if you have a permit or license. Please see Mrs. Wilborn.
*Seniors, who are interested in writing the class poem, please see Ms. Hayes. Submissions are due by Jan. 31st.
*Mrs. Elliott is collecting Bath and Bodyworks shipping boxes of any size.
*Students, remember that check out notes are due to Mrs. Vezertzis by break time or 9:30am. If you bring a note after break time they will not be accepted and your parents will have to come to the school and check you out. We do not allow check outs over the phone.
*Juniors and Seniors, Prom tickets are on sale now for $65. Tickets will increase to $100 after Feb. 1st. All Juniors and Seniors must purchase a ticket.
*Students must stay on the sidewalks until the buses stop in the bus loop. You will be written up if you violate this policy.
*Yearbooks are on Sale: 2018-2019 Yearbooks are currently on sale for $60. No extra books will be ordered. If you do not pre-order a yearbook you will not be able to buy one at a later date. Payment Options: If you would like to pay for your yearbook via credit/debit card please use the following link and instructions: Please go to www.balfour.com enter our school name, verify the city and state, and click on “Yearbook” to place your online order. If you prefer to pay via check, please make all checks payable to FPHS yearbook and bring to Mrs. Freeman in room 302. Payment Plan Options (before Christmas Break): if you chose the payment plan option, all balances must be paid in full by March 20th . Payment #3 -$10, Due by Jan. 17th.
